APA Maryland held its 2019 Biennial Conference on October 6th through 8th at the Rocky Gap Casino • Resort in Cumberland, Maryland. Our conference theme was Negotiating Change: Balancing Development, Climate Change, and Preservation in Maryland.

An APA Maryland Event held at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Studies.

APA Maryland held their 2018 Annual Holiday Party at Hotel Indigo in Downtown Baltimore.

Old Westminster Winery hosted APA Maryland at their beautiful facility where we learned about zoning and alcohol farm producers in the state of Maryland.

APA Maryland hosted a successful Annual Meeting and Conference on June 27th, 2018 at the Pip Moyer Recreation Center in Annapolis.

We hosted an APA-MD event at Serenity Farms in Benedict, Maryland on May 18, 2018. The takeaway was how planning and regulations are important in assisting the many different and creative ideas for farming and the use of farms.

We hosted a successful event entitled Perspectives on Baltimore: The Role of Design and Planning to Strengthen our Communities with the MD Chapter of AIA on Wednesday May 20th, 2015 at the Engineer´s Club in Baltimore.

We hosted a tour at Real Food Farm in Baltimore on October 10th, 2014. Speakers included farm manager Tyler Brown & Education Coordinator Molly McCullagh. Abby Cock of the Baltimore City´s Office of Sustainability also talked about integrating urban agriculture into the City of Baltimore´s Planning efforts.

MD APA hosted a tour and information discussion about wineries in rural Baltimore. We hosted this event at Boordy Vineyards on Friday October 18th, 2013.

MD APA hosted an event at the Engineer´s Club in Baltimore on August 20th in which we discussed how the film industry affects Maryland´s Communities. Speakers included Jack Gerbes, Director of the Maryalnd Film Office, and Debbie Dorsey, Director of the Baltimore Film Office.

MD APA organized a sold out Port of Baltimore Tour and Freight Panel Meeting for CM credits on May 16th, 2014.

MD APA hosted its annual meeting & dinner at the Engineer´s Club in Baltimore on Thursday, September 18. Speakers from the Maryland Department of Planning discussed Reinvest Maryland (Infill, Redevelopment, and Revitalization), and speakers from the Baltimore Metropolitan Council discussed Maximize 2040 - a performance based transportation plan.
