Maryland Planning Commissioners Association 2023 Annual Conference

The Maryland Planning Commissioners Association (MPCA) is excited to host its 40th annual conference at the Kent Island Resort. This year will feature 2-1/2 days of topical and informative sessions. The conference fee of $150 for early-bird attendees ($175 after August 31) and $75 for students includes access to all conference offerings, a tour, and food for all three days.  

Registration and check-in at the resort start at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24, followed by the Open Meetings Act and Planning Commissioner Training Course sessions and other events to be announced.  

Wednesday's sessions, October 25, will begin with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and continue to adjournment at 5:00 p.m. Thursday’s sessions, October 26, will mirror Wednesday but end midday.

The MPCA Conference offers Planning Commissioners, Board of Appeals members, and anyone interested in citizen planning an opportunity to learn, share experiences, and exchange ideas.
