Welcome to the Maryland Chapter of the American Planning Association's Website. Our mission is to make great communities happen in Maryland by offering continuing professional development and other valuable services to our members that will enable them to excel in their practice. We advocate for excellence in planning, promoting education and citizen empowerment, and providing our members with the tools and support necessary to meet the challenges of growth and change. We hold a bi-annual conference, produce a quarterly newsletter, offer continuous opportunities to network, and experience new and varied educational opportunities across the state.

Planners' Trivia Night

Join us for the annual Planners' Trivia Night, a chance to test your planning brain and amaze your colleagues.

Whether you're boning up for the AICP exam, thinking about it "at some point," or just need a place to release all those pesky facts, this is a great way to find out what you don't know!

When: Mon, September 17th, 6:30-9:00pm

Where: Right Proper Brewing Company, 624 T Street NW, Washington DC

Trivia topics will cover city planning, the Washington, D.C. region, and other planning-adjacent esoterica. Prizes will be awarded to the highest-scoring team and the most creative team name. Bring your own power team or mix it up with others at random.

Registration includes two drink tickets, tasty hors d’oeuvres, and all the trivia you can handle. $10 advance registration ends September 14th. If available, on-site registration will be $15.
