It is my pleasure to invite you to our biannual superjury presentations on Thursday evening December 14 from 5:30-8:30 pm in CBEIS 235 (Co+In Lab) - see the attached poster. Our super jury is our semester-culminating event where students from various classes present their work. The event gives students (and their faculty) an opportunity to hear your feedback and critique, and provides them with an entree into the professional world. It also provides you with a modest opportunity to impact the careers of Baltimore's future planners and shape our evolving program. Plus the dialogue is always stimulating!
This semester we'll get a taste of the Waverly Future Plan from the Housing and Land Development course and then delve into the work of the 2nd Year Planning Studio for the Pen Lucy, WIlson Park and Wrenlane neighborhoods. Finally, we'll get to see two excellent capstone project presentations, one that assesses the full potential of urban agriculture in Baltimore; and a second that provides an intimate, street-level view of unsheltered homelessness in Baltimore and considers implications with the aim of creating a more humane city.
